Trusting in self, inner trust, is a feeling and a belief that can take you a long way. Cultivating inner trust is mainly built through taking action. For you can only see the outcome of taking a chance on something if you actually do it.
Your intuition is pointing to something. Is giving you a hint on a step to take.
Let’s look at the possibilities:
You trust your intuition. You take the guided action linked to that feeling. And things work out wonderful. You learn to trust in yourself and your intuition.
You trust your intuition. You take the guided action linked to that feeling. But things don’t work out the way you expected them to. Here is where you stay open, believing and trusting, to see what wants to open up for you. Chances are it leads you on a path you never considered and ends up benefiting you in the long run. Therefore, you learn to trust yourself and your intuition. So that when you get a similar intuitive nudge in the future you know to follow the call.
You DON’T listen to or trust your intuition. You don’t take any action. You stay in the same situation you have been. Probably stuck in confusion, seeking answers externally and feeling pretty low about yourself and things in general. You become sad, bitter and not trusting in self. You go round in circles and feel like you’re spinning your wheels.
Can you see how taking a chance on your intuition, taking action that may make you uncomfortable but feels right, can benefit you on so many levels? Not only will it help you move forward but you are building an intuitive muscle and trust in yourself that will guide you through your life.
You have all the answers within. Often it requires trust and courage to act on them.
Take a chance. Take action. You may see amazing short-term results or there may be a bigger picture involved that you can’t yet see.
That’s where the trust really comes in. For we’re often only given the next step. So that we act on it and trust that the next one will be revealed when the time is right.
That the path forms as we walk it.
